Meghan Dower

After years of bouncing around from medium to medium, I have recently started settling into using photography, film, and screenwriting. Through these mediums, I explore the subconscious mind in the form of a dreamscape gone wrong. In my work, I blur the lines between reality and nightmares. Throughout my work, one never really knows for sure whether what is presented in front of them is a dark reality or merely a depiction of a bad dream. I achieve these sequences through narrative storytelling and typical cinematic techniques, which are inspired by my time as a scare actress at a haunted forest attraction and my time as a Film and Media Arts major.
